ABOUT THE MABJ

The Memphis Association of Black Journalists believes that minority journalists and media professionals should work to increase minority employment in media-related fields, to increase the number of minorities in management positions, to encourage and educate future generations of minorities in mass communications, and to monitor and sensitize all media to racism, diversity and equal employment opportunities in the Mid-South area.
